Morning Cleansing Is A Myth: Transform Your Skin

Your skin needs its natural oils to stay balanced.

🚫 Cleansing twice a day is too much.

🚫 Using toners is too much.

🚫 Using scrub exfoliants is too much.

Your skin needs its natural oils to stay balanced. When you strip these oils away, you are creating an IMBALANCE, resulting in skin that is either dry and irritated, or oily and congested.

Dry, irritated skin is when you do not produce enough natural oils to replace what you have stripped away.

Oily, congested skin is when you have stripped away too much of your natural oils and your skin is now overproducing the oils that you removed - resulting in trapped oil underneath a dry layer of skin - AKA, breakouts & congestion.

Here’s what I recommend:

  1. AM: Splash lukewarm water on your face or wet a cloth or cotton wipe and swipe all over your face and neck. Continue with your AM serums + moisturizer + SPF
  2. PM: Double cleanse at night if needed. I recommend this if you were wearing makeup. If your skin is makeup free, there is no need to double cleanse, but you can if you prefer. Wash your skin in the sink with lukewarm water, not in the shower to avoid excessive heat. Continue with your PM serums + moisturizer.
